There have been more than a few unusual favors asked of me over the years. This year is no exception. I receive a call from Sherri one afternoon in early September. She had told me that Drake asked her to get married, I definitely thought that this was wonderful news and was happy that she called me to give me the news. I was expecting the usual request of photographing their wedding. A request I most certainly would agree too.

The part that surprised me, Sherri asked me if I would honor them by marring them. Being an ordained minister with the venerable Universal Life Church since 2003, I naturally accepted their request. It was a real honor for me to do this favor for my two dear friends. This incidently was my first wedding ceremony.

Drake’s parents came to town last week and we found a beautiful spot in the mountains that overlooked Boulder to perform the small ceremony.
