There is one really great thing about moving to a new town, and a big town particularly. Learning where the best spots to photograph and what time is the best time to photograph.
Portland has always been a wonderful place to photograph no matter what time of year and whatever the weather. I have been coming through Portland for 15 years but living here is proving to more interesting than I could have thought. It takes getting out everyday to shoot. Which if you are a photographer, then you know what a drudging endeavor that could be on a rainy day.
