This year Andrew and I made over to the Greek Festival at the Greek Orthodox Church on Jay Road in Boulder. I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew there would be food.. There was, and it was fabulous. The Souvlaki was the menu item to eat.. Lamb, chicken, pork, or falafel, boy was it good. Andrew and I made it both days, mostly for the food, we got to check out the church and some of the books and nic-nacs for sale. The music or speakers weren’t on stage while we were there, but we managed. Oh, I suggest the Greek Coffee. YUM!

Everybody knows how much I love the Supergroup from New Hope, Pennsylvania called Ween. The fun and positive nature of most everybody I met at Red Rocks was a joy to experience. The BBQ we had before the show started was an exceptionally good time and I must say, I almost forgot that we were there to see Ween. It was a pleasant surprise to run into Mark, he was hanging with some friends of friends. So that worked out nicely.

As for the show, the sound was terrible. Actually it was the worst I have ever heard Ween sound. The Volume was way to low from where we were and they did not play a single socially offensive tune. This was extremely disappointing. Perhaps this is because they were playing in such a high profile place. I don’t think I was ever had more fun at a Ween show than last night.

Last Sunday I made it out to the Pearl St Pub and the Josh Rosen played that night. A hellava good time.
